Sainsbury's issues list of foods you can freeze to help save money - from eggs to cheese

Sainsbury's is advising shoppers to freeze a range of foods to help save money.

The supermarket has released a list of products that can be kept in the freezer to help families through the cost of living crisis. Some of the items, which we have listed below, are likely to come as a surprise.

A recent report found that 58% of the population are desperately looking for ways to save money, while waste charity Wrap says that the average family wastes £60 a month throwing away food. The Daily Mail reports that Sainsbury's has opened a walk-in freezer concept store that will show customers how to freeze foods they may not be used to storing.
