Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons will all be reducing the prices of several items in their stores to help with the rising cost of living crisis.
Rising inflation combined with supply chain issues caused by Brexit and the Ukrainian conflict mean the price of food and non-alcoholic drinks has soared. In fact, it hit the highest 12-month rate since September 2011 this March, reports The Mirror.
To help those struggling, supermarket bosses have made clear their intentions to "keep delivering the best value for customers". Both Asda and Morrisons have now come forward to offer customers some help in the form of reduced prices.
