While the SAG Awards is a time to recognise the best in the business in Hollywood, several stars made sure they sent messages of support to Ukraine amidst the on-going battle with Russia.
Among those sharing their support was veteran actor Michael Douglas.
The 77-year-old turned up to the event hoping to add to his illustrious award-winning resume by bagging awards for his performance in The Kominsky Method.
He was nominated for both the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series and the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
But his appearance on the red carpet showed a message of defiance as he smartly dressed in a black suit and finished the look off by wearing a handkerchief the colours of the Ukraine flag.
Speaking on the red carpet about his show of support he told Access' presenter: "This is not for the LA Rams. This is the colour of the Ukrainian flag.
"If ever there was a time for us to appreciate about what true democracy is, I'm just so proud of what the people in this country have done."
He also shared his support on social media as he uploaded an image of his outfit on his Instagram. Fans were quick to send their praise on the post, with one user simply writing: "Respect."
Another agreed, commenting: "Thank you for supporting Ukraine."
And many others shared their support by commenting with a string of emojis showing the Ukrainian flag.
Michael wasn't alone in showing his support.
The Morning Show’s Greta Lee walked the carpet in a stunning blue and yellow Marc Jacobs dress in tribute to the colours of the country's flag.
Blue and yellow ribbons were also worn by several stars as they entered the event, including Tyler Perry, Douglas Hodge and Shari Belafonte.
Lady Gaga, who looked amazing in a white and gold ensemble, also addressed the ongoing situation by telling host Laverne Cox: "There’s so much going on in the world and my heart really goes out to Ukraine."
And as the ceremony got underway, the night's host Leslie Odom Jr briefly touched on the horrific situation as he opened proceedings.
He said: "While tonight is a celebration, we are all at the same time holding a place in our hearts for the people of Ukraine and sending our thoughts, prayers and hopes for impending peace."
His words were met by a loud applause from the star-studded audience.
