AN UNBEATEN 83-run partnership from Chris Greaves and Safyaan Sharif saw Scotland claim a thrilling three-wicket victory over Namibia.
Greaves (53 not out) struck five fours and two maximums, while Sharif (40 not out) hit four boundaries and one six to fire Scotland past their target of 216 with seven balls to spare.
Sharif finished with a four to take Scotland to 219 for seven and get them back to winning ways in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
The victory put Scotland 12 points behind leaders Oman in second place in the table with 13 games in hand.
Shane Burger's side had suffered a resounding first-ever defeat against Nepal 24 hours earlier with the visitors bowling Scotland out for 144 in Glasgow before completing their victory midway through their innings.
Gavin Main and Hamza Tahir both posted returns of three wickets for 38 runs as Scotland bowled first against Namibia at Titwood but the visitors gave themselves a real chance by finishing on 215 for seven.
There was an early blow for Scotland's batters when Kyle Coetzer was caught out for three and skipper Richie Berrington followed for a duck.
Calum MacLeod gave the Scots hope with 59 but George Munsey and Michael Leask soon followed him out to leave Scotland on 117 for six with little over 17 overs left to rack up 99 runs.
Scotland still needed 52 runs off seven overs and Greaves and Sharif came to the rescue, the former hitting two sixes and claiming his first one-day international half-century off 48 balls and Sharif notching 40 from 43 balls.
Burger's side have the chance to avenge their defeat by Nepal when the teams meet again at Titwood on Sunday.
