
Social media addiction is rising in young people – but how do you tell if your child is addicted, or just using social media more than you’d like them to?
Research from the University of Cambridge last year found almost half (48%) of British teenagers say they feel addicted to social media, and data released by the World Health Organisation (WHO) last autumn found a “sharp rise” in problematic social media use among 280,000 adolescents in Europe, central Asia and Canada.
