NAGPUR: In a first-of-its-kind project, the Pench Tiger Reserve (PTR), Maharashtra, will launch agro-tourism, packaging it with a wildlife safari at Kolitmara, 70km from here, on the western edge of the park. The project will be launched on March 26 by Ramtek MLA Ashish Jaiswal.
Kolitmara on the western bank of Pench River comes under the Nagalwadi buffer range of PTR. It also has one of the seven safari gates at Pench, marked by one of the oldest forest rest houses in PTR.
