Bernadette passed away on 3rd October 2022 at St Anne's Hospice, aged 63 years, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Denis and loving mum of Donna, Joanne & Michelle, darling granny of Liam, Corey, Makayla & Adanna, great granny of Mayh-mae.
Bernadette will be sadly missed by all her family & friends. With deep sadness we announce the passing of Philip and Lynda Leicester. Philip passed away peacefully on 16th August 2022, shortly followed by his beloved wife Lynda, who also passed away peacefully on 22nd September 2022.

Irene Marie WHYSKER (nee Burns)
2/12/1944 - 14/09/2022, on 14/09/2022 Fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church passed away in Wythenshawe Hospital following a short illness.
The most loved wife of David for nearly 56 years and loving sister of Ann and brother-in-law, Brian and his partner Sandra and cousins, Steven and Colin who will all miss her forever, as will Brian and Sandra's large supportive family.
Irene lived in Chorlton-cum-Hardy for over 50 years (formerly in Withington) and she will be fondly remembered by all her friends and neighbours. She worked as NHS Medical Secretary to the Geriatric Unit at Burton House (old Withington Hospital), then as Medical Secretary to the Psycho geriatric Unit at Manchester Royal Infirmary until her early retirement owing to ill health.
Irene was the voluntary organiser/trustee of Withington Hospital Stroke Club from its creation in 1977 until its closure in 2019. Didsbury Rotary Club gave her a Paul Harris Award in recognition of this She was a skilful, ardent ballroom dancer and enjoyed this with her husband, David until ill health intervened when she was in her early 70s.
