Sadio Mane's decision to skip talking to the media after the Champions League final doesn't bode well for his Liverpool future.
It's claimed the forward is set to leave Anfield this summer as he is heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich with his contract expiring in 12 months' time. The Reds insist that Mane has not communicated his feelings to the club as they stand firm on the Senegal international.
Mane remained tight-lipped on what he will do in the summer in the build-up to Saturday's showdown in Paris but said he would address the speculation following the match as Real Madrid claimed a 1-0 win against the Reds. But the Daily Mail claims he skipped speaking to the press following the disappointing defeat to the Spanish giants.
Mane wasn't obligated to talk to reporters after the game, but it's not the most promising sign for Liverpool who are desperate to hold onto the 30-year-old. The winger would have been well aware of what questions were going to come his way after promising to open up about his future.
Diario AS claims Mane informed his Liverpool teammates of his intention to leave the club this summer in the Stade de France dressing room following the Champions League final loss.
Bayern are said to be lining up a £25million bid for Mane in the upcoming window but Liverpool have made it clear they will not consider parting ways with their prized asset at that price. The Reds would rather keep him for an extra year even if it meant he left as a free agent next summer as it would be difficult to find a replacement with the figures suggested.
Bayern are expected to offer Mane a contract until the summer of 2025 with an initial offer of £25m plus between £4m and £8m in bonus payments, according to Sky Germany. The report states that Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic will lead negotiations, after CEO Oliver Kahn and his predecessor Karl-Heinz Rumenigge watched Mane at Saturday night's Champions League final.

Jurgen Klopp was asked about the Bayern rumours at his pre-match press conference in Paris, saying: "Wherever Sadio will play next year, he will be a big player."
It's Deja Vu for Liverpool as Mohamed Salah has also entered the final year of his current deal. Likewise, Liverpool are struggling to convince the Egyptian to sign a contract extension, although he has confirmed he will be at Anfield next season.
Salah said in a press conference: "In my mind, I don't focus on the contract. I don't want to be selfish at all. I said two months ago it's about the team. It's an important week for us.
"I'm just focused on the team and winning the Champions League again. I want to see Hendo [Jordan Henderson] with the trophy in the hands and hopefully he gives it to me. I don't want to talk about the contract now, I'm staying next season for sure, that's clear."
