BC.Game’s signing of Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev’s at the end of last year raised a lot of eyebows in the wider Counter-Strike community. The Ukrainian AWPer might have been considered by many to be the greatest player in CS:GO history, but he’d been away from professional competition for a long time, and the org he chose felt like a mismatch at that stage of his career. It looked like an experiment, a gimmick — a stunt. Nobody thought it would be a success on either side. Now, almost a year later, the perception has changed and the only ones laughing are BC.Game.
