S Club 7's Tina Barrett has shared a poem that she has written in tribute to her late bandmate Paul Cattermole.
It was announced just a few days ago that Paul had died last week, aged 46. The news prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans of the late singer and fellow celebrities.
Paul's bandmates said in a joint statement that they were "truly devastated" by his loss. The group further commented last week that he will be "so deeply missed" by them.
Tina, 46, took to Instagram this afternoon to share her own tribute to her late bandmate and thank fans for their support at such a difficult time following Paul's death.
Alongside a photo of Paul performing on stage alongside the rest of S Club 7, she wrote in her post: "Thank you for all your well wishes and support in this tragic time."
Tina further commented: "I wrote a poem for Paul I'd like to share with you all". She continued by posting the poem itself, which paid tribute to her late bandmate Paul.
The poem posted by Tina read: "Paul Cattermole. A shining star. Full of character and life. His flame burnt so bright. A rebel without a cause. A free spirit. A true force.
"While strumming the guitar, he reached for the stars. Farewell sweet Paul, your star shines so bright, forever in our hearts. Sleep well and goodnight".
She concluded the post - which has already amassed thousands of likes on the platform - by writing: "Miss you Cattermole love Tina." She included a broken heart emoji.
S Club 7 formed in around 1998. Paul and Tina were joined in the pop group by bandmates Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee and Jo O'Meara.
The group went on to achieve success with singles such as Bring It All Back, Never Had a Dream Come True and Don't Stop Movin' - which all topped the UK Singles Chart.
Paul left the group in 2002 following the release of their third album. The following year, the remaining members - then known simply as S Club - decided to disband.
The group - who briefly reformed in 2015 - had announced just a few months ago that they would all be reuniting for a tour later this year to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
