Paul Cattermole was the star of a touching throwback video that appeared on S Club 7's Instagram grid earlier this week, just days before his death at the age of 46.
On Friday afternoon, the heartbreaking news broke that Paul had been found dead at his home, with S Club 7 releasing a statement which read: ""We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have."
They added: "He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."

Paul's death comes weeks after fans rushed to get their hands on tickets for S Club 7's reunion tour, the group's first tour in eight years and to mark 25 years since they were formed.
There was great excitement amongst S Club 7 fans this year when an official Instagram account was set up for them, teasing the big announcement, which, of course, ended up being the tour; which has proved so popular that extra dates had to be added at a number of venues.
Since the tour was confirmed, the Insta account has been posting memories from the S Club archives, as well as a birthday post in honour of Paul turning 46 on March 7.
And just days ago, a video was posted of Paul on tour, singing lead vocals on the song Good Times, from the band's third album Sunshine. The upload also carried a poignant caption, which read: "Wednesday reminder from S Club to go hang out with your friends and have a GOOD TIME."
Among the many to reply to the pos was Paul's bandmate, Jo O'Meara, who reacted with heart emojis, while many others praised Paul's vocals and said the song needed to be on the setlist for the new tour.
