Tributes are flooding in for Paul Cattermore who died suddenly on Thursday, April 6 aged 46.
S Club 7 paid tribute to the 46-year-old on their official Twitter page.
They wrote: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
The star was found dead at his home in Dorset, with the cause of death currently unknown. However, his family confirmed there was no suspicious circumstances.
Many celebrities and fans have taken to social media offer their condolences following the sad news.
Loose Women's India Willoughy wrote: "Omg. Such sad news. Paul was always my favourite. Cheeky smile. Be with the brightest stars now. Love and condolences to all his family and friends."
Comedian James Barr wrote: "So sorry."
And TV personality Rylan added: "Sending all the love to you all xxx"
Scottish broadcaster Lorraine Kelly described Paul Cattermole as “gentle and shy” as she paid tribute to the singer following his death.
“This is so sad. Lovely man and he was so looking forward to the #sclub7 reunion,” she tweeted. “Interviewed them all many times and struck by how gentle and shy he was.”
The news comes as the group recently announced a massive tour which they were set to play in October 2023. S Club 7 were formed in 1998 by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and they went on to achieve huge success, with a raft of smash hit singles and TV shows Hollywood 7 and Miami 7.
Paul was joined in the band by Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara and Rachel Stevens and Hannah Spearritt - who he also dated from 2001 - 2006.
Paul left the band in 2002 to form his own group Skua, leaving S Club 7 to rename themselves as S Club.
The rest of the group went their separate ways on April 21, 2003.
