Rylan Clark was desperately trying to keep a straight face as he hosted Monday's This Morning alongside Ruth Langsford.
The duo were back together on TV screens for the first time in ages as they fronted the popular ITV daytime show.
Rylan and Ruth invited viewers to get in touch with their animal dilemmas as they welcomed pet communicator Beth Lee-Crowther onto the programme.
Starting the segment, Rylan said: "First up we have got Jane, morning Jane. Now you have got a chicken called Korma that's under the weather?"
As Jane went on to explain what's wrong with Korma, Rylan and Ruth could be heard laughing a bit.
Beth replied: "I actually feel there might have been a little bit of virus for Korma, but I also feel like she's depressed. Have you lost a chicken? Is there any grief around her?"
Jane replied: "No, we've not had chickens for years," as Beth continued: "Okay because I feel like she's a little bit depressed.
"There may be a little bit of a dilemma because the one chicken, I feel, that Korma is not responding to or they don't get on, so you might find there's a little bit of an issue there."
"Has she been fighting with any of the others?" Ruth then asked as Jane responded: "No she's not, we've got them altogether and we haven't had a new chicken come in but maybe it's coz she's only been with us for three weeks..."
"There's a bit of depression and I thought she'd lost a friend, when I looked at it, that's what I thought because she's missing another chicken. I also feel that there is something for you around a big work shake up," Beth added.
As the camera panned to Ruth and Rylan, the former X Factor contestant was seen desperately trying to keep a straight face and it didn't go unnoticed by viewers tuning in at home.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "#ThisMorning Rylan is trying so hard not to laugh at the pet psychic!"
Another tweeted: "Rylan trying not to laugh... maybe it's just ill? #ThisMorning."
A third person wrote: "A depressed chicken…..I’ve heard it all now #ThisMorning #chickenkorma."
And a fourth viewer said: "@thismorning #Thismorning Poor Jane, I think she thought this woman was an expert vet, what a joke."
Elsewhere on Monday's This Morning, Rylan was left shaking when a huge snake was brought into the studio following his recent drama with a grass snake in his Essex home.
Beth told Rylan that finding a snake in his house symbolised a very interesting message for him.
"That denotes a new beginning," Beth told him, before adding: "Now this is an exciting opportunity, now it's new people coming into your life."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
