Rylan Clark splurges on shiny new set of porcelain veneers after splitting from husband

Rylan Clark has treated himself to a new set of porcelain veneers - and he looks great.

The presenter took a trip to see Dr. Richard Marques - whose previous clients include Tom Daly, Joey Essex and Nick Grimshaw - at his dental clinic in London to complete his gleaming smile after splitting from husband Dan Neal.

Bubbly TV personality Rylan, 33, went for a complete smile makeover at the leading practice with his fresh set of sparkling white veneers.

In 2013, Rylan left fans divided after he got his first set of veneers following his rise to fame on The X Factor.

He told Notebook Magazine: "I got my veneers finished the day before I started hosting Big Brother's Bit On The Side, my first presenting job.

"My mouth was swollen from the anaesthetic, they were brilliant-white, brand new. That was the first night everyone saw them, and all people did was take the p**s out of my teeth.

"So no one realised I was a s**t presenter, and by the time they stopped talking about my teeth a few months later, I'd got better at the job."

Earlier this month, the TV host opened up about his struggle following the breakdown of his marriage, revealing that he shed a lot of weight and that felt mentally unwell.

Rylan revealed that after splitting from husband Dan after six years of marriage, his weight plummeted to 9st 13lb and that he "didn't deal with what happened".

He said that it had been "s**t" following the break-up and that he has spent a lot of time with his mum Linda, who he hailed as a "lifesaver".

Rylan took a break from his work commitments in the summer and has now vowed that he will get healthy, and has since put on four stone through healthy eating and exercise.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: "I got ill and I lost weight, I went down to under ten stone — and I’m six feet four inches, so that’s not good.

"The honest truth is that it’s been s**t."

He continued to explain that his family had been "majorly worried" about him and he doesn't ever "disappear for four months".

"One of my biggest regrets of this year was putting my mum through me not being well," he said. "I needed to get back to me."
