Rylan Clark has raised eyebrows among his fans after he took to social media with a very mysterious post which came just moments after Phillip Schofield announced he was stepping down from ITV.
The popular television host appeared to look in good spirits as he posed holding a peace sign as he beamed into the camera with a huge smile just hours after Phillip's bombshell statement admitting that he had an affair with a younger man while working at This Morning.
The news comes as Philip's departure sparked hopes Rylan could return alongside Holly Willougby, according to reports in the Mirror.
Rylan also got fans talking when he revealed last week he was taking a break from hosting his Radio 2 show, writing: "This is where I should say ladies I won't be catching up with you next week.
"Because I am off to do some other bits and bobs so I'm not going to be here for a fair few weeks."
Meanwhile, Holly Willoughby has also broken her silence following the news that Phil had an affair which he hid from ITV bosses, his co-stars and friends and family as she said she was "very hurt" at the news.
