Rylan Clark's cheeky Strictly Come Dancing comment leaves viewers in stitches

Rylan Clark left his It Take Two guests in stitches on Friday night with a quip during a chat about this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up.

And the host of the Strictly spin-off show joked "I'm gonna get myself into trouble!" after he made the cheeky joke to the panel. Among them were Ranj Singh, Ugo Monye and Mollie King who were shown a taster of the 15 Strictly contestant 's new routines ahead of this Saturday's live show.

They discussed the Samba then referred back to Mollie's time on the show in 2017 when her Samba failed to impress the judges. This led on to Rylan's joke which saw him apparently reference his past love life, reports The Mirror.

It said Mollie laughed about the moment on the show, Rylan - in trademark cheeky style - humorously mocked it and then his Takes Two panel member Dr Ranj admitted that his own former appearance on the show ended with a Samba.

Mollie remarked: "It's a hard dance" and Dr Ranj said: "I went out on a Samba." Rylan then pitched in with "I've been out with a Samba" before laughing as Dr Ranj responded: "Samba, I don't even know her."

The host then said: "Let's move on, I've gotta move on. I'm gonna get myself into trouble" and pulled a face. With the new Strictly series under way, Rylan made his return to It Takes Two on Monday - while co-host Janette Manrara following up on Tuesday and Wednesday night - and viewers were reportedly loving having him back.

Several took to Twitter, clearly keen to see more of him. Fan comments included "Rylan should present every night. Brill show with him: "Rylan is such a natural funny host, gets the best from the guests" and "@Rylan is a wonderful TV presenter. He’s in the moment, in control, natural, relaxed, interested."

The comment added that It Takes Two "shouldn’t be great TV BUT IT IS" and said of Rylan "Give him a #BAFTA." It Takes Two airs weeknights at 6.30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
