Rylan Clark makes list of demands as he issues clarification on Big Brother return

It has been confirmed that ITV will be reviving reality TV show Big Brother next year.

The iconic programme will return after a five year hiatus. It originally aired for a whopping 18 years in the UK, on both Channel 4 and Channel 5, until it was axed in 2018.

Now it is making a comeback, and fans were hopeful that former X Factor star Rylan Clark may take the helm. However, today he issued a statement to his followers clarifying that he "has not been asked" to host ITV's Big Brother.

Speculation was intensified when he reacted to ITV's announcement last night as he Tweeted : "He was always watching… It’s coming home #bbuk" alongside an image of the big eye logo.

But after fans became excited, Rylan decided to clarify the situation. He wrote: "Should clarify. I’ve not been asked to host the show. As a fan, like always, I’m made up it’s coming back. I know how hard you/we all fought to keep that name alive and I’m so glad it paid off in the end. The OG reality is back. It’s the news we wanted. Welcome back bro x #bbuk."

The TV personality went on to issue a list of demands which he was "praying" to see on the show. The list read: "Praying for *Normal housemates from all walks *Live evictions *No outside contact *Public vote *Adopt a small part of gameplay from overseas territories *Some form of Live feed *Big Brother to always be in charge."

He added: "So we will see… v early days Re team / host etc. Regardless we wanted it back and it came back."
