Rylan Clark hysterically begs fans for help as he finds snake in house amid hangover from X Factor reunion

Rylan Clark was left begging his fans and followers for help on Sunday night after he found a SNAKE in his house. The BBC Radio 2 host completely lost it as he discovered the slippery reptile in his plush Essex home after telling fans he felt 'dead' following a reunion with his X Factor pal Ella Henderson.

Taking to Instagram, Rylan videoed the unwelcome guest slithering next to his window as he hysterically screamed about what to do. He captioned the video: "Apologies for language but there is a snake so yea," as he could be heard speaking from behind the camera.

"There's a f***ing snake in my house," he cried. "What do you do? What do you do." He then went on to plead: "Can someone please tell me what do I do. I think this is where I think you shouldn't live alone, I don't know what to do!"

The 33-year-old TV star continued to film as he freaked out about the unexpected visit. Clearly still hysterical, he said: "I tried to touch it and now it's moving! It's moving! Oh my God what is this creature? Will it attack? Please can someone tell me, will it attack? I don't know... I can't deal with it.'

He carried on filming the drama as the snake went on the move as he claimed it tried to attack him as he tried to usher it in one direction. Turning the camera on his terrified reaction, he added: "The snake it's moved away, but I don't think it's gone ou. I think it's gone in the bifold doors. I've been googling can you get killed by them.

"Why is this happening, why there is a snake in my house?" he asked. "Is that normal? Can someone tell me? I knew there was a few snakes in Brentwood but I didn't think there was actual snakes. You don't need this on a hangover!" Later Rylan shared another video telling fans he hadn't seen the snake for over an hour, but he couldn't sleep because he was "frightened it would come back."

He initially posted the drama to his Instagram Story before posting the full version to his main page. "NOT TODAY SATAN KILL ME NOWWWW." And his celebrity pals were also freaked out on his behalf. Emily Atack commented: "Oh my god NO!!!!!!! No no no no." While Loose Women star Frankie Bridge simply replied: "Nope."

And while some fans found his reaction hilarious, others were trying to help. @hellyelly75 told him: "BREATHE. its a grass snake. it's non venomous. it just wants to get out, so open the door. I know it's weird but I promise it is more scared of u! it won't hurt you." @ebarmby echoed: "Looks like it's a grass snake!! Feeling for you here @rylan."

Run for the Hills Rylan." @gallaghersharlene wrote: "I had actual tears watching your story earlier and your reaction too funny." @ms.n.james added: "You'd be gold on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. @imacelebrity @antanddec @itv."

Rylan also couldn't handle the drama after reuniting with singer Ella Henderson, 10 years after they met on The X Factor. "Took the little sister out on the town after 10 years… @official_ellahenderson," the former Celebrity Big Brother winner penned alongside a selection of snaps from the evening.

Ella's boyfriend, retired professional swimmer Jack Burnell, also joined them for the raucous night out which appeared to start calmly on a rooftop bar in the capital before finishing in a club. " I love you more than anything," Ella replied to Rylan as he confirmed with a messy hair selfie: "Hungover... me... no... I think I'm dead."
