Rylan Clark has jokingly admitted he's 'always on edge' filming Gogglebox with his mum Linda, as he has no idea what she’s going to say.
The 33-year-old and his beloved mum took a year-long break from the show due to her health issues, as she suffers from Crohn’s disease, but now they’re back on the sofa giving their opinions on the latest TV shows.
Rylan said his gig on the hugely successful series was “the easiest job in the world” but he’s anxious when filming with his mum, because he doesn’t know “what is going to come out of her mouth”.
“I can literally sit there and do f*** all and she just does it, which is great. She has no idea she’s even doing it,” he told The Sun .
“That is what makes it work with her, that is why people love her. I am always there thinking ‘what the f*** is going to come out of her mouth?’” he quipped.
Rylan recently shared snaps on Instagram of the Gogglebox cameras at his luxury home, and he said he loves doing the show so much that he forgets he’s being filmed.
He said Linda “feels comfortable” in front of the cameras as they film from the soaf in Rylan’s kitchen, and he heaped praise on the team behind the scenes for being patient with him and his mum as they dealt with personal issues in their lives.
Linda was forced to take a break from Gogglebox as she suffers from Crohn’s disease, but Rylan insisted she was “ready and raring to go”.
While the Strictly Come Dancing : It Takes Two co-host has also taken time out from filming last year after splitting from his husband Dan Neal.
“I was gutted I couldn’t be part of it last year because I wasn’t too well. But I am thrilled to be back this year,” he said.
