An Irish TikTok account has revealed a cheeky way of ensuring you get the extra legroom seats on board with Ryanair for free - but it’s a risky move.
Dublin Airport queues have been improving over the past few weeks, with some even flying through security in as little as ten minutes at off-peak times.
However, those travelling at peak hours through the airport are still experiencing some delays and are asked to arrive at least 2.5 hours before departure.

If you prefer the extra legroom seats on Ryanair but don’t want to pay for them, then this trick is for you.
In the video, @vacationwanderer wrote: “Ryanair tip, only check in two hours before your flight and get the extra legroom seats for free.”
Alongside the video, the passenger wrote: “Started doing this a few weeks ago and always end up in the extra legroom seats now.”
However, Dublin Airport passengers are still being advised to arrive at the airport 2.5 hours before the departure of short-haul flights to Europe and the UK.
In its latest update, the daa recommended that all long-haul passengers arrive up to 3.5 hours before their flight.
Passengers have been advised to check with their airline when check-in and bag drop-off opens and to plan their arrival at the airport based on that information.
They are also encouraged, where possible, to check in for their flight online.
To minimise queue times, security screening in Terminal 1 will remain open 24/7, while security in Terminal 2 will open from 4:00 am.
