Ryanair has launched a number of new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport.
The expansion of its services continues the Irish airline 's aggressive post-lockdown expansion as passengers return to airports. New potential trips for passengers were announced during a press conference this week, where CEO Michael O'Leary also repeated warnings about the price of plane tickets.
He said the days of ultra-low cost tickets are over for the foreseeable future, with the aviation boss saying the cheapest fares will be closer to £20 than £10.

The budget airline boss warned ticket prices will continue to rise next year, saying average fares would increase from their current £34 point to £40 in 2023, the Mirror reports. He added: "The era of low fares is not over, but the era of really cheap and cheerful airfares are gone for a couple of years."
O'Leary went on to call for the whole UK Cabinet to be sacked, calling them "ambitious idiots" and repeating previous complaints about the economic impact of the "hard Brexit" opted for by the government.
