Ryanair hits back with cheeky comment after customer's seat complaint

Ryanair decided to get a bit cheeky after a customer made a complaint.

The budget airline is known for offering cheap tickets with passengers being charged for extras should they want them. But even with this in mind, some customers still aren't best pleased with the no-frills experience.

One customer in particular was shocked to see something missing when they took their seat aboard a Ryanair flight. They took to Twitter to share their frustration - prompting a tongue-in-cheek response from the airline.

The holidaymaker, who uses the tag Type1Tony on the social media platform, wrote: "You don’t even get seat pockets in a Ryanair flight?!” followed by a laughing emoji. He also shared a picture of the seat in front of him, which only had a fold down tray and safety instructions on it.

But Ryanair hit back with a cheeky response as they suggested a remedy for his predicament. They wrote: "Don't you have any pockets, Tony?!"

Another user got in on the joke as they said: "You must be able to buy pockets surely as an extra?!" But the airline responded in a witty once again, as they said: "We call them pants Richard."

Customers loved the banter between the business and consumers. Ian said: "Best airline reply ever."

Ken said: "It’s a good thing. No more leaving kindles, iPads or wallets behind." Tommo said: "Cleaner that way I'd say."
