A little known baggage rule has turned out to apply on multiple airlines. It comes after an EasyJet passenger has warned others about the rule after flying with the company.
The same rule also applies on Ryanair and BA flights. Pandora Sykes took to Twitter to say that they were refused boarding due to their specific type of bag.
The Echo reports that 'smart bags' are no longer allowed. The Twitter user said: "Beware anyone being so foolish to fly Easyjet - captain just refused to let us board our flights because our checked-in suitcases have USB ports (aka “smart bags”).
