Planning a holiday can be a nightmare when trying to find good deals on flights and on hotels that match up with your budget and your available dates. You either find a great flight deal but the hotel cost is astronomical or the hotel is cheap on days that no one is flying.
So oftentimes, booking a package holiday that includes hotel and flights, and sometimes transfers and attractions too takes the stress out of your holiday and quickens up the process. However, if you’re keen on going with Ryanair, you’ll be out of luck.
The Irish budget airline is infamous for its cheap flights, offering basic tickets on European holidays for as little as £14.99. You won’t find hotel packages on its website though, as the airline stopped its Ryanair Holidays offering several years ago.

Can you book accommodation with Ryanair?
While the option to book a hotel doesn’t come up when you book your flights, there is an answer. Rooms is a site from Hotels.com, a popular accommodation search engine, in partnership with Ryanair.
There is no benefit to booking with Rooms over another accommodation provider, such as the likes of Hotels.com, Trivago or Booking.com. For people who like to be super organised, you can link your Rooms booking with your Ryanair flights in your myRyanair account. Your hotel booking is separate from your flight though, which means if something was to happen, you’d need to reach out to the hotel itself to find a resolution.
Does booking a holiday this way come with any protection?
If you book your flight and accommodation separately in this way, you’ll be offered standard protection. That means, if Ryanair is forced to cancel your flight for whatever reason, you can apply for a full refund or you can change your cancelled flight for free.
If your flight is cancelled mid-holiday, the airline is responsible for getting you on the next flight to your destination. In some cases, this may be with a different airline, but Ryanair is responsible for contacting you to provide an update.
The best form of protection you can get for your holiday is travel insurance. Martin Lewis regularly reminds travellers to book this as soon as they book their holiday as travel insurance can protect you in the events of cancellation, changes in circumstances and lost
