Ryan Tubridy has issued urged fans to be cautious after reports of a number of scams going around on social media.
The RTE broadcaster warned that fraudsters using his image and the upcoming Late Late Toy Show to swindle people. Ryan said: "Keep an eye on your Facebook, Instagram, and possibly Twitter.
"There’s a lot of scamming going on. I heard that people are getting messages saying ‘Congratulations, you’ve won Toy Show tickets’, ‘Congratulations, you’re coming to the party’. There are a lot of scams using my face, my image, and the Toy Show.

"Just check everything. The only thing I’m on online is Instagram. It’s got a blue tick and everything else is fake and scammy so just be careful as you go."
As families across Ireland get ready for the biggest Christmas TV event of the year, Ryan hinted that tomorrow night's show was going to be "spectacular". Speaking about why the Toy Show is so popular, Ryan said on RTE Radio One this morning: "Nostalgia is definitely one thing but also the Toy Show is one of the last shows that you can pretty much guarantee people will put their tablets and phones down and actually gather around and focus on something as friends and as family and not be distracted by looking at a screen."
