Almost 700,000 people watched Ryan Tubridy’s final Late Late Show on Friday night.
Figures revealed by RTE last night showed Tubs’ chat show swan song had an average audience of 680,000 viewers (including RTE One+1). That translates as an audience share of 63.2%.
A spokesman for the broadcaster said: “Friday’s season finale has been streamed 68,600 times so far. As of May 2, the Late Late Show has had a total of 1.265 million streams on Player (September 2, 2022 – May 28).”

Elsewhere, an average 36,000 people tuned out of watching Angela Scalon’s Ask Me Anything chat show, compared to figures last week. The RTE spokesman added: “Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything had an average audience of 183,000 (including RTE One+1), with an audience share of 20%.
“The series has had 67,200 player streams to date. Charlene McKenna’s Clean Sweep had an average audience of 227,000, (including RTE One+1), with an audience share of 21%. Clean Sweep has had 338,000 RTE Player streams to date.
“And Claire Byrne’s Ireland’s Smartest [semi-final] had an average audience of 265,000 viewers, (including RTEOne+1), with an audience share of 29%. The series has had 41,800 RTE Player streams to date.”
