Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are hoping Notts County join their team in League Two next season after a titanic title race was finally settled.
Wrexham are back in the Football League after a 15-year absence as Paul Mullin’s brilliant brace and a further goal from Elliot Lee fired them to a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood.
Reynolds and McElhenney, who had been joined by fellow Hollywood actor Paul Rudd in their executive seating area, celebrated as Wrexham’s title and promotion was confirmed and Notts County’s brave challenge was finally ended.

Notts' 5-2 victory at Maidstone earlier in the day ensured Wrexham had to win to avoid the title race being decided on the final weekend of the season.
After the game, Hollywood megastar Reynolds told BT Sport he and McElhenney were backing the Magpies to join them after they moved to a huge tally of 106 points with a game still to play.
"I'm not sure I can actually process what happened tonight. I'm a little speechless. One thing that has been running through my head is people who asked 'why Wrexham?'. This is why. What is happening now is why Wrexham.
"Huge credit to Boreham Wood tonight. Also, this entire story, the reason we're sitting on the edge of our seat right now is because Notts County is so damn good as well. They deserve to go up.
"It's something Rob and I feel quite strongly about. We are rooting for Notts County. We want to see them go up to League Two and face them next year. They're incredible."
Wrexham's win moved them on to 110 points to edge a season long battle at the top of the National League.
Notts were equally classy in their response, tweeting: "Congratulations on an outstanding season, @Wrexham_AFC."
