Ryan Reynolds' luxury hotel where he stays after Wrexham games on trips to UK

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have made a huge impact at Wrexham since completing a shock takeover of the non-league club in 2021.

The two actors have invested heavily in the club's success and they look to be on the verge of a return to the Football League, with Wrexham currently a point above rivals Notts County with a game in hand as both sides chase the one automatic promotion spot.

Despite Reynolds and McElhenney having numerous other business interests stateside, not least their acting careers, the pair are regularly seen watching Wrexham's home games from the director's box at the Racecourse Ground.

Reynolds has reportedly purchased a £1.5m house in the village of Marford, just a few miles from Wrexham's ground, with the Hollywood A-Lister after a more permanent residence in Wales for when he visits to watch his club in action.

Until then, Reynolds and McElhenney have been staying at the luxurious four-star Carden Park estate in Cheshire. The estate is just ten miles away from the Racecourse Ground and boasts top class sporting facilities, which Wrexham's players have used themselves.

The estate was even used by Sweden's national women's team and UEFA during last year's Women's Euros, with the estate having a full-sized football pitch. There are also two championship golf courses, one of which was designed by 18-time major winner Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve.

They also have a number of lavish restaurants and bars on the 1,000 acre estate, along with a luxurious spa that includes a swimming pool, beauty lounge, relaxation rooms, sauna and hot tubs.

Carden Park also welcomed the likes of Mo Farah and DJ Jordan North as stars of 2020's I'm A Celebrity recouped after their time in Wales.

Wrexham have just three games left to play this season and while they are the favourites to pip Notts County to automatic promotion, Reynolds and McElhenney have already been able to celebrate one promotion after Wrexham's women's team won the Genero Adran North title to secure a place in the Genero Adran Premier.

"ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. CONGRATULATIONS @WrexhamAFCWomen !!!!!!!" McElhenney tweeted after promotion was confirmed. "Wow. Wow. Wow. PROMOTION!!!!! So proud of this club!!!!!" added Reynolds on Instagram.
