Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds has bought a £1.5million house in a little Welsh village, according to reports.

The new purchase follows the actor's success with football club Wrexham as his National League side find themselves on the brink of promotion. The 46-year-old has become a local hero in recent times after investing into the struggling club.

And now the star has shown his commitment to the side by reportedly putting pen to paper on a property in Marford - just five miles from Wrexham's home ground. It means the Deadpool actor - who is married to fellow star Blake Lively - is set to swap the bright lights of New York for the Welsh countryside, reports the Mirror.
