Ryan Kent has admitted he wanted his move to Fenerbahce done as quickly as possible when he learned of their interest.
The former Rangers star joined the Turkish giants on a free transfer following his summer exit from Ibrox. He spent five years at the Light Blues after initially joining from Liverpool on loan under Steven Gerrard before making the switch permanent. He was one of the high profile departures from Ibrox at the end of the campaign alongside Alfredo Morelos.
The winger has already started getting his new chapter underway as he took part in pre-season training following his arrival at Turkey. The 26-year-od can't wait to get started as he expressed his gratitude to the fans for the support he has received in the early part of his career at Fenerbahce. He's stated he will have no problem adapting to his new surroundings as he targets success on the field in this upcoming season.

He said via the Daily Record: "As soon as I heard about Fenerbahce's interest I felt happy and I wanted this transfer to happen as quickly as possible. I look forward to being on the pitch for the new season. I know this club has had a lot of great players and I want to be one of them.
"I am a dynamic football player who likes to dribble the ball, play directly and towards the goal. I like to take on players one-on-one. But I am someone who works a lot to the benefit of the team too. I want to help the team with goals and assists. I am a team player.
"I would like to express my gratitude to our fans for their support since I arrived and my team-mates also welcomed me very well. There will be no problem in me adapting. I've been away from my family since I was young and the reason for this was to gain experience. I had to do this in order to become a professional football player.
"At my previous club, there were great rivalries and I am aware there is a very strong competition here as well. I am ready for it. We've already had a team meeting with the manager and he told us his plans for the season and how we would be successful.
"I promise our fans; I'm going to play in a style that gets them excited. A club like this deserves to win leagues and cups. We won the Turkish Cup last season and I want to be successful in every tournament we enter."
