Ryan Kent is closing in on a deal to sign for Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The English winger is out of contract at Rangers in the summer and will head for the exit door after five years at Ibrox. Kent has been a first-team regular since signing from Liverpool for around £7m in 2019 following a successful loan in Govan a year earlier. Italian news outlet tuttomercatoweb is reporting that Kent has also had offers from Serie A outfits Bologna and Udinese but has decided to head to Istanbul following his stint in Glasgow.
Kent, 26, is a part of a group of players who are out of contract at Ibrox at the end of the current season. Keeper Allan McGregor and Alfredo Morelos are set to leave after boss Michael Beale revealed after the Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Celtic. Ryan Jack, Steven Davies, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander are other players who are out of contract, however Jack is believed to be close to signing a new deal.
Morelos, 26, has also been linked with a move to Fenerbahce but is not as close in terms of signing a contract as Kent is - according to tuttomercatoweb. The Colombian is out of contract this summer and Beale has already confirmed he will leave the club.
