Ryan Cawood from Happy Valley presented at the Brits and fans are loving it

Happy Valley star Rhys Connah is living his best live after last week's finale as he presented an award at the 2023 Brit Awards and viewers can't get over it. In fact, some are downright hilarious in their reaction in seeing the actor, who played Ryan Cawood, after the super popular Happy Valley came to an end.

He was presenting Best International Artist alongside Georgia May Jagger, an award which went to Beyonce, but people were too busy squealing over Ryan aka Rhys, who has also been on Loose Women this week, more on that here.

'R Ryan' was seen in the finale of Happy Valley telling the cops that his dad, Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton) had been in touch and the episode ended with a hugely tense exchange between Royce and Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire), Ryan's granny. Viewers also loved Rhys' scenes where he explained why he'd been visiting Royce in prison.

One fan tweeted: "Only just realised that was Ryan from Happy Valley. Such good acting in the show, I didn't notice..." And another said: "I love that Ryan from Happy Valley is presenting an award." Some were shocked: "OMG it's Ryan from Happy Valley."

Others were just funny: "Catherine will be sat at home now in her scarf proud as punch of her Ryan."
