Speaking to ESPN on Wednesday, after PSV's 3-1 KNVB Beker cup victory against FC Emmen, Van Nistelrooy said: “We would like [to keep him beyond this season]. He is a great talent. Everton are 'admirers' of Daichi Kamada and they could land him for free
Everton's pursuit of players that can improve their squad will have to resume in the summer, but they could potentially grab themselves a bargain courtesy of the Bundesliga.
That's because Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada is believed to be running down his current contract, according to fresh reports.
With 13 goals and five assists in 27 matches this season, he's certainly one of the German club's star performers, but Sport1 claims that the Japanese international is being watched by the Blues as well as Tottenham Hotspur.
Frankfurt director Markus Krosche admitted to Sky Germany recently that Kamada's future would be settled one way or the other over 'the next few weeks'.
But Sport1’s Christopher Michel says he has no intention of extending a contract beyond the end of the season. The 26-year-old has been with Frankfurt since 2017 but looks set to try a new challenge.
According to German outlet BILD, Everton, Tottenham and Bayern Munich are all interested in Kamada and his developing situation.
