The former This Morning presenter has spoken publicly about his ongoing battle with chronic pain, telling viewers he struggles to sleep and suffers from severe discomfort. Before quitting the show, Eamonn was seen relying on a crutch to move around the studio as he joined his wife Ruth.
Now a regular on GB News, he was absent from recent shows which sparked concern from viewers. Taking to Twitter to clarify the situation, he told his fans he had to be taken to hospital to undergo treatment and won't be returning for a while.
