Ruth Langsford's goodbye from This Morning causes outcry among viewers

Fans of This Morning are calling for Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark to be made full time presenters, after Ruth ended her return to the ITV show on Friday.

The duo have been standing in for Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as they continue their extended summer break. Some viewers declared Ruth and Rylan on screen meant they would tune back in again.

And they've certainly brought a smile to viewers' faces, with Ruth having to walk off sit in a fit of giggles over something Rylan did in the ad break, while Rylan was spooked by a snake just minutes into their first appearance together.
