Rust medic sues crew over fatal shooting

The medic who responded to the deadly shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust has filed a negligence lawsuit against crew members and the movie’s producers.

Cherlyn Schaefer was called to Bonanza Creek Ranch set in Santa Fe, New Mexico on October 21, after Alec Baldwin’s .45 Colt revolver fired a live round, killing Ms Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza while preparing for a scene.
