Distraught Russian families are frantically searching a Telegram channel showing the Kremlin's soldiers slaughtered daily by the Ukrainian army.
The number of Russian soldiers slain since the start of the invasion has been stacking up, with unconfirmed Ukrainian estimates reaching a staggering 30,000 dead Russian men, women and teens.
In Russia, where the death toll is being downplayed, the Defence Ministry claimed just 1,351 service members had been killed during the first month of the war.
The ministry has failed to update the official numbers of dead Russians since March 25.
But now one Telegram channel dubbed "Look for Your[s]" has been sharing bleak daily updates showing every soldier killed each day Vladimir Putin's horrific war rumbles on.
The channel - which is nearing one million subscribers - is written in Russian but was set up by the Ukrainian government to allow the soldier's relatives find the "fate" of their "loved ones".
On Tuesday the channel posted portraits of two soldiers - one born in Ulyanovsk and the other in Yekaterinburg - both with the word "died" under their photos.
Among other images and general war updates, the channel also shares the identities and photographs of Russian soldiers captured by Ukrainian forces.
The channel claims to be an offshoot of the website 200rf.com - which shared information about "captured and killed Russian soldiers since the beginning of the occupation".
In another pinned post, the page - which is run by Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs- claims it was blocked by the Kremlin after it "chose to hide information about their loved ones from its citizens".
An explainer post reads: "This channel was created by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
"On it you will find information about captured and killed Russian soldiers in Ukraine since the beginning of the occupation.
"Here we will promptly post photos and videos that we receive from the battlefield.
"If your relatives or friends are in Ukraine and participate in the war against our people - here you can get information about their fate.
"Unfortunately, it is difficult to identify a lot of those killed.
"We deliberately post these photos and videos, you may recognise someone by indirect signs. Information is updated constantly."
Unconfirmed Ukrainian reports place Russia's losses after three months of the war at 1300 tanks, over 3000 armoured vehicles, 600 artillery pieces and close to 30,000 troops.
There have been reports that Russia is finding it difficult to rotate out its exhausted soldiers and in another sign of defeat, the maximum conscription age has been scrapped.
Earlier today it emerged a Russian fighter had gone public with complaints of exhaustion and the awful conditions while fighting eastern Ukraine.
The soldier who had fought near Kyiv, Kharkiv and is now in eastern Ukraine, complained to the Guardian of his desperate fatigue.
Andrei, who serves with the 37th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade headquartered in Buryatia in Siberia, said he had even contacted a lawyer to find out whether his deployment to the front is even legal.
He also complained that he had not seen his wife for months.
"I have been fighting in Ukraine since the start of the war, it has been over three months now," Andrei said.
"It is exhausting, my whole unit wants a break, but our leadership said they can't replace us right now."
