A Russian paratrooper has revealed devastating failings inside Vladimir Putin’s military machine.
Pavel Filatiev, 33, has written a new book highlighting appalling shortcomings from ill-fitting uniforms to rusty machine guns to army medics without syringes or painkillers.
The paratrooper was part of the original botched invasion launched by Putin on February 24, but eventually quit on medical grounds.
