Russia’s Anastasia Potapova sparked outrage at Indian Wells after wearing a Spartak Moscow football shirt ahead of her third-round match with Jessica Pegula.

The world number one Iga Swiatek led the criticism of Potapova and said Russian players should not publicly show support for the country during its invasion of Ukraine.
