Ukraine's Air Force reported on social media that a Russian missile struck the Kharkiv region on Tuesday night, with additional missiles hitting the Dnipro, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. The regional military administration confirmed that a 70-year-old man was wounded in the Chernihiv region due to the strike. Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties reported in the other regions affected by the missile attacks.
In addition to the missile strikes, Ukraine's Air Force disclosed that over 100 drones were launched from Russia into Ukraine. Of these drones, 56 were successfully shot down, while 58 were either lost or jammed. Furthermore, six drones managed to fly out of the country before being intercepted.
The escalation of hostilities in the region has raised concerns about the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The use of missiles and drones in these attacks underscores the volatile situation and the potential for further violence. The international community is closely monitoring the developments and urging for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
