Russian forces have continued their advance south into Ukrainian villages in the Kharkiv region following a surprise cross-border assault that began four days ago. One of the key areas of focus for the Russian forces is the village of Lyptsi, which is strategically positioned on Ukraine's second defensive line.
According to reports from the DeepStateMap monitoring group, two nearby settlements have fallen under either full or partial Russian control. However, Ukrainian military sources have confirmed that an attempted Russian advance on Lyptsi itself was successfully repelled by Ukrainian forces.
