Russian drone attack on shopping centre in Ukraine kills five with 67 hurt

  • At least five people were killed and 67 others injured after Russian drones struck a busy shopping mall in Pavlohrad, southeastern Ukraine .
  • A total of seven deaths were reported across five districts in Pavlohrad, a key rail and logistics hub, following major Russian strikes.
  • The wounded from the daylight strike on shops and vehicles include three teenage boys aged 13, 14, and 15.
  • The assault follows similar Russian strikes on shopping centres in the Ukrainian cities of Zaporizhzhia and Sumy earlier in the week.
  • Separately, a joint operation by British, Norwegian, and US forces foiled a clandestine Russian submarine plot to disable critical undersea cables.
