A Russian court has handed down sentences to three individuals involved in a series of gruesome murders linked to satanic rituals. The case, which shocked the nation, involved the luring of victims into remote wooded areas in northern Russia where they were brutally killed.
The main perpetrator, Andrei Tregubenko, received a life sentence for his role in three killings. Alongside Olga Bolsakova, both self-professed adherents of satanism, they led a young girl into a forest in the Karelia region in 2016 and murdered her. Subsequently, they, along with Tatiana Deryugina and Alexander Perevozchikov-Khmury, killed a man in the woods in the Leningrad region.
Further details revealed that Tregubenko was also responsible for fatally stabbing a man during an argument in the Moscow region. Following this murder, he and the other three individuals engaged in a ritual involving the victim's blood, as per the investigative committee's report.
Deryugina and Perevozchikov-Khmury were sentenced to 13 and 15 years in prison, respectively, for their involvement in the heinous crimes. Bolsakova had previously received an unspecified term for her role in the murders.
This case has underscored the shocking nature of the crimes committed and has led to calls for increased vigilance against such extreme and violent behavior. The sentencing of the perpetrators serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding justice and ensuring that those responsible for such heinous acts are held accountable.
