Notably, a drone attack targeted a special forces academy in Chechnya, a Russian province located approximately 800 kilometers east of Ukraine. The incident, acknowledged by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, resulted in a fire that was swiftly extinguished. This marked the first drone attack on Chechnya since the onset of the conflict.
