Almost three weeks have passed since Russian president Vladmir Putin began his deadly invasion of Ukraine, triggering global condemnation and a raft of sanctions across politics, business and culture.
Missile strikes and artillery attacks have intensified in recent days and according to the United Nations (UN) there had been 549 civilian deaths and 957 injuries in Ukraine as of 10 March, but the real total could be considerably higher. Of those killed, 26 have been confirmed to have been children.
