The missiles were launched just 20 minutes apart, causing harm to an officer and a medic who were providing assistance. Tragically, among the casualties was a pregnant woman in her seventh month.
In response to the escalating aggression, the Ukrainian ambassador to the U.S. emphasized her country's right to defend itself by targeting Russian troops outside of Ukraine. She underscored that Ukraine is justified in taking action to protect itself from further attacks. The ambassador also addressed concerns regarding the potential use of American weapons in these defensive measures, stating that international laws and regulations support Ukraine's right to defend itself against aggressors.
