Russell Wilson’s ‘Let’s Ride’ meme continues to grow

This meme isn’t going away anytime soon.

Earlier this year, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was caught on camera reciting “Broncos Country, Let’s Ride!” for video promos for the 2022 season. Because Wilson repeats it so many times with different inflections, the video is a bit awkward and — as Wilson often is — a little corny.

The original “Let’s Ride” video went viral on social media and fans have made many memes from the footage. Then, players from other teams (both in college and the pros) began making spoof versions of the video.

ESPN recently created a montage of some of the remakes alongside Wilson’s original “Let’s Ride” campaign:

To Wilson’s credit, he’s been a good sport about it, and he hasn’t backed down from using the catchphrase. The Broncos have latched onto it too, using it on social media and in promos for the upcoming season.

Fans in Denver will have no complaints about having a corny quarterback if he helps the team get back into the playoff hunt this season.
