Russell Wilson’s hosting Broncos teammates for pre-camp workouts

Denver Broncos players still have more than a week until they have to report for training camp, but their (unofficial) summer practices have already begun.

Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson will host teammates at his San Diego home this week for workouts and passing sessions ahead of the official start of camp in Englewood next week.

The first players to join Wilson in California were rookie wide receivers Montrell Washington and Brandon Johnson. Wilson posted footage of the receivers working out and running routes on Friday.

Wilson hosted at least a dozen teammates at his home for workouts in the spring, and that numbers will likely growing leading up to training camp.

Broncos players are set to report to the team’s UCHealth Training Center on July 26 with practices scheduled to begin on July 27. Denver will have 14 training camp practices open to the public this summer, including a joint practice against the Dallas Cowboys on Aug. 11 (full camp schedule).
