Russell Wilson’s return to Seattle might not have gone the way he wanted it to, but it’s clear he’s still got staunch supporters on his former team.
After the Seattle Seahawks’ 17-16 victory over the Denver Broncos on Monday, Wilson was the center of attention as the postgame handshakes began. One moment in particular stood out among the rest, as Wilson and former receiving target DK Metcalf had a wholesome embrace at center field.
While other former teammates of Wilson’s — and former Broncos too — made some not-so-subtle jabs at the quarterback after Monday’s game, Metcalf’s midfield hug was all respect and love.
"Give me a hug, brother."
This moment between Russ and DK is so special ❤️

How wholesome is that! Not only that, Wilson and Metcalf exchanged signed jerseys as well after the game, a true sign of the camaraderie between two former teammates.
Love forever bro @dkm14 🙌🏾 https://t.co/hO3HR57AHN
