Russell Martin says Swansea City co-owner Jason Levien is pleased with the progress the club are making under the current coaching staff.
The American was in attendance at the Swansea.com Stadium for the 1-0 defeat to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon along with director Jake Silverstein.
It was understood to have been the first Swans fixture Levien viewed live in person in more than three years, and Martin has opened up on his talks with the businessman following his brief visit to south Wales.

"We caught up briefly before the game. Really nice to see him," said Martin. "Jake's been here for a few days now. He's been over a lot this season so he's really familiar with the players and the staff which is brilliant, really helpful.
"To see Jason here as well is really nice, he's not been here for a while I think. I'm disappointed we couldn't get a result for him, but I hope he's seen enough to be excited about moving forward.
"He's really happy with how it's going and what we're building. When we all signed up for it, we knew it was going to be a long-term thing because to play this way is not easy, it takes time. We've got some young men doing incredible things.
"I think him, Jake, Steve [Kaplan] and the owners are excited about it, hopefully they're as excited as we are."
Meanwhile, Michael Obafemi will continue to be assessed ahead of Saturday's trip to Coventry City.
The striker missed the clash with Norwich due to an injury he picked up while on international duty with Republic of Ireland during the World Cup break, and Martin says the Swans will not rush Obafemi back into action.
"We're not sure at the minute," responded Martin when asked if Obafemi was in contention to face the Sky Blues. "We need to be careful with him. He came back from Ireland injured and we thought we might have had a chance for this one, but we haven't unfortunately.
"Given what happened with Joe Allen and everything before, we just have to make sure we're doing everything properly. It's not a huge one, hopefully he'll be back with us soon."
Elsewhere, the head coach confirmed Matty Sorinola was left out of the squad to face Norwich to accommodate Liam Cullen and Armstrong Oko-Flex on the bench.
"It's tough getting him on the bench today," said Martin. "He's trained really well, and he played really well against Dundee United in Scotland.
"I had to leave him and Fin Stevens out, and Brandon Cooper, Nat Ogbeta. It's not easy because Matty's done great for us.
"I think he understands. We wanted Culls on the bench today to have another striker option.
"Armstrong is very different to anyone we have in the squad and the rest of them speak for themselves really. It was difficult for him, but he understands and at some point when he's needed to come back in, he'll be ready."
